There are a lot of people out there who would appreciate a small patch to make this game playable offline as promised. I appreciate any help provided & I know I am not alone. Legally, this game should still work OFFLINE.

It is currently selling for $59.99 on XBLĮven though it is obviously broken & this has been a known/reported problem all over the internet for at least a month! 2k has indicated that this game would only lose ONLINE functions after January 2020. I do not understand how this game is still for sale anywhere online since it simply does not work. I paid good money for this game a few months ago & have yet to play it, I would like some sort of solution please. In its current form, the game is essentially BRICKED. So far no one appears to have found a solution or received any help from 2K Sports. Of 2k18 over the past 4-6 weeks from unhappy 2K owners who wrote reviews of the game specifically for this reason. After doing a little research on various web sites & forums, this appears toīe a known issue with NBA 2k18 (& reportedly 2k16/2k17 as well, though I haven't tried those yet). I have deleted & reinstalled the game from the disc & continue to experience the same problem over & over. The screen indicates "Press A to Continue", but this does nothing.
